The Tony Danza Tapdance Extravaganza recently played some shows with Carnifex. And one of their gigs was recorded and posted by Hard Times. And as usually, they play flawlessly, I would murder to see these guys live.

Word of the day.

Reconditioned - Another one of those arguments you get into with people about a word. He mentioned something about Reconditioning car parts, and to me that sounds strange, naturally I think of "Referbishing". So with this, I stated they were wrong, as did others, but apparently reconditioning is the act of repairing cars or machinery. Who new.

Remedial - I came to the conclusion today, that I wasn't sure what this one meant. After someone had called people "remedial", due to remedial classes. But then remedial massage came tome mind, which through out the prior theory all together. Then we couldn't find anyone whom actually knew the meaning of remedial. So we looked it up, I dig the word.
T'is something that is intended to correct, or cure something. Like remedial massage is correctional massage. And remedial classes are classes to help....correct stupidity.

Naissance - Could mean many a thing, I love them versatile words. It's a birth/growth/origin of something. This something can seriously be anything, when looked up, the examples given were "a person, an organization, an idea, or a movement."
So there's like a kazillion ways to use this word. So use it.

Bravado - Firstly, nice sounding word, and I have always thought so, but didn't think to find the meaning of it until now, I dig the word. T'is a display of courage, bravery or "boldness", which is used with the intent of impressing, or intimidating others. This courage/bravery/wahtever ye' want to be calling it is usually fictitious, as the bravado-neer wouldn't have had to intent of such courage if there wasn't the chance they'd look good.

In a context,
"Those lad douchebags were using their bravado speakin' to scare the kiddies, but they're really pussies."

or

"Ye' see what that guy did there, he was so brave."
"Na act of bravado, he just wanted to look good infront of the girls, so he could get a stelp closer to in their pants."

Hypocrisy - We all know it, we all love it, but seriously, repeat this word a few times. It sounds amazing. I'm not currently capable of thinking, so I'mma have to quote this one.
"Hypocrisy is an unconscious self-contradiction: a state of incongruence between one's professed beliefs and feelings and one's actual beliefs and feelings, or an application of a criticism to others that one does not apply to oneself."

Procured - Yet again, nothing that will send ye' into a state of awe, as it melts ye' face off, keeping it simple. I quick dig the word. It basically means to obtain something/someone, with great precision, care or effort.

botany - It's not applicable, it's not exciting, it's not different. It's just...the study of plants. There's a couple o' reason I dig this word. First, is the fact it sounds awesome. And then there's the fact, that if you use it, you sound like a posh kid,
"I was reading up on my botany."

I found this one while wiki-surfin' the other night, and giggled like a schoolgirl that's just been touched.

spanspek - as most should know, the english language differs abit, depending on where one is. This word, is used in South African term for "Cantaloupe" or...."Rock Melon". Now apart from the fact that Cantaloupe's kick some major ass, I find this word delightful to say. Span-Spek. Doesn't even sound like a word, kind of like an 8 year old writing a fairy tale, and after pondering on the name for a race for 20 minutes or so, they name it something spastic like "Span-Spek...the ancient.....aztec tribe?"

rancorous - I dig the word, I don't give a crap how basic it is. "Bitingly hostile", "deeply malevolent". So my take on the word, seems to be that it simply means something of extremely hostility/hatred/"evilness".

Blawb Head
Bordom at tafe. And yes, I am aware he turns into male genitalia. I wish I had done it larger. you don't get to see most the animation I had done on said Blawl head, due to size, and speed. I felt it was nice and smooth.
