Terts

Our first If I Was A Dolphins sesh will commence next week. That is all.

Cheel out

I'm quite the fan of relaxation, as do most others.

So, ya'll should all listen to Crustation, if you dig Portishead, there's no reason to not enjoy Crustation.

<3

mmmmmm, delicious

Mastodon released the music video for the song "Curl of the Burl"
The song kicks ass, as one would expect from Mastodon, and I quite enjoy the video clip, as weird as it is.

My favourite bit's when they set him on fire with their tits.

*insert Regular Show quote here*

Incase people are what the shitting.

Hmm Hmm

Everyone should watch The Regular Show, 'specially if you dig shows like Adventure Time. Even if you don't, watch it anyway.

*EDIT*
Another reason to watch kids shows like this, is for jokes like this

<3

Hmm hmm

So I hadn't posted in abit, I knowses, appy-polly-logies.
Anywhom, here's my listening habits for the past week. ^_^

1.Eyehategod
I love sludge, it's lovely, and if you're ever pissed off it's the place to go. I often find myself listening to bands like Crowbar, Acid Bath, Grief and Eyehategod. But as of late I've been listening to a lot of these guys, and I feel you should too. ^_^

2-The Ocean
I'm always listening to The Ocean, they're one of my favourite band, and with their collection of music, there's no reason to not be in the mood for them. So none the less, they rock socks, check 'em.

3-Deftones
Deftones are another favourite of mine, have been for awhile. Their latest album Diamond Eyes will never compare to their other stuff, but it got me into the band, so it sits well with me, and like their other stuff, it has the annoying habit of being reaaally damn catchy, and I've been subconsciously singing this song all week.

4-Opeth
Nothing ever needs to be said about Opeth, their amazing. And after being notified of their touring of Australia in December, I got onto listening to these guys obsessively again, I love them.
Much like The Ocean, with suck variety, there's no reason not to be in an Opeth mood.

5-Russian Circles
If you've never chilled the fuck out to Russian Circles, you're doing it wrong.
These pack o' instrumental post-metallers are one of those bands you can listen to for hours, and it won't get old, if you dig bands like latitudes, Yndi Halda or Caspian, you'll probably dig Russian Circles, their a tad bit more powerful with what their doing, but a beautiful listen none the less.
I'm also forced to miss these guys playing due to the fact it's an 18+ venue, how shit's that?

6-Rings of Saturn
I'm not sure how Rings of Saturn made it into this collection, but I loooooove Tech Death, and these guys are just delightful, if you dig guys like Hiroshima Will Burn, Hedonistic Exility or Upheaval, check 'em.

7-Beasite Boys
I love The Beastie Boys, alot. But The Mix Up, has to be one of my favourite albums in the history, if you haven't experienced this album in it's entirety, you haven't lived.

8-Tesseract
....It's Tesseract, they're better then life.
I had to miss these guys, I hate 18+ venues.

9-Latitudes
I was going to post Steppe and Veld, but apparently the song doesn't exist of Youtube. Anywhom, here's another band that I can listen to for hours on end, even though they've only got 12 songs spanning 2 albums, they're amazing, and this is one of the few tracks with vocals.

10-Portishead
Portishead is beautiful.
Also, like Russian Circles and Tesseract, I have to miss them because I'm not 18. Woo.

11-Meshuggah
I love Meshuggah, they're pioneers of a lot of things, and anyone who says they like metals, and refuses to like Meshuggah, doesn't like metal
I didn't know how I could represent this album with a single song, so I posted the whole album. It's one of the best albums to listen to, from start to finish, as the songs flow amazingly, and it may as well be a single song.

Hmm hmm

Shit son.

Still working on it, I'll throw it up once it's finally done, but I'm hoping to do a fair bit of work on it yet.

Wolves are a pain in the ass.

Get Excited!

Kind of couldn't fit this shit into the previous post, as it didn't really fit.
But none the lessliness, here's upcoming albums and whatnot that I'm really looking to.

1.Tesseract+Elliot=?
This one isn't really, excitement, more so curiosity. Basing my opinion on this track alone, I prefer Dan, but that'd be dumb. I'm not pissy about it, as Dan left the band, and his fans, and Tesseract were forced to find a replacement, and as far as replacements go, they did well, and I'm sure I'll grow to love him. Isn't really the Tesseract I grew to love with One, but One wasn't the Tesseract I grew to love with their pre-concealing fate stuff.
I feel Dan was a little less distracting and worked with the band in a more effective way, hoh wheel.

 2.The Safety Fire-Grind The Ocean
I've been following The Safety Fire for awhile now, and I love the stuff they've done so far. This track is all they were before, and more, I'm loving it. If you dig bands like Sikth and Aliases, but want a little less randomness and wailing, this album's for chooo.

3.The Atlas Moth-An Ache For The Distance
I posted this song in my last post, which, was a poor choice in song, seeing as it's not out yet. I just recently got into these guys, and I reallly want this album now, this songs delightful, the band's delightful. and it's out in a couple of weeks.
4.Livarkahil-Signs Of Decay.
I've been looking forward to this album since they released a teaser for it earlier this year, a got that shit stuck in my head like a ma fugga. And this track, is as I expected, it's delicious. And it's out in a few weeks.

5.RWAKE-Rest
I've heard the guys previously, and I loved what I've heard. But this, is just amazing, it's wholesome, and just, heavy, sludgey goodness.
After reading reviews of the album, I just want it more, it sounds, lovely. The shit drops on 27th.

6.Textures-Dualism
I've been listening to these guys for awhile now, and it was only within the last month or two that I fell inlove moreso. They're really good musicians, and after hearing this, and the track Singularity. I cannot wait. Also pleases me that their drummer's a lefty.
Shit drops on the 27th also.

7.The HAARP Machine-The Escapist Notion

I don't feel I need to say all too much about these guys and their debut album. They're awesomely technical, without being, face raping (Which I love none the less).
I'm really glad these guys got signed and whatnot, they deserve it. I cannot wait until this is released.

8.New Burning The Masses
I love Burning The Masses, and as good as their last album, I don't feel Big Chocolate was Burning The Masses Enough for the Burning The Masses club.
It's a lot deathier then their last, which I looove, but a lot less technical then Mind Control, and I prefer their first vocalist.
But I still love this, and it's better then Offspring of time. Can't wait for more.

9.Mastodon-The Hunter
I don't think there's people that hate mastodon, so there's no need to explain how I love them, and everything they've ever done.
Just, their new album is Mastodon, and I'm excited.

10.New Vildhjarta
These guys, don't need words. They're too good. No new shit as of yet. I'm excited for the new vocalist.

11.New Meshuggah
...

12.If I Was A Dolphin
I'm usually not for rap, but this album, is going to be great, I haven't heard anything yet, but you can just tell.
These guys are so revolutionary, they don't even have a name yet. How many artists announce albums before their name? Damn straight.

I've probably missed something obvious, but, yes.

<3

mmmmmmmm

I try to stay away from anything 'core, unless it's Grindcore or Mathcore.

But I must say there's a few deathcore bands that tickle my music prostate every now and again.

I've always kind of dug Molotov Solution, but I am diggin' thus song.

But 'core pushed aside, here's sextunes I've been loving as of late.

1.Cult of Luna
This band is magical, and I can shuffle them for hours without it becoming monotonous. I love these guys and I really suggest you give them a look see, 'specially if you dig bands like The Matador or Latitudes.

2.Corrosion of Conformity
I've been into these guys for awhile, but I've been raping them with my ears the last week, stoner rock at it best.

3.Year of No Light
Not only is this song beautifully vast and progressive, but the EP is one of the most epic things I've heard, and with this track spanning 10 minutes, it's a worthwhile listen, I love it.. If you dig bands that can actually put forward a sense of emotion with their music, I really suggest you listen to these guys.
If you dig Yndi Halda and Caspian, give these guys a listen.

4.The Atlas Moth
If you know me at all, I love myself anything with a sludgey/doomy sense to it, doesn't necessarily that it is sludge or doom, just it has some elements that display such a thing. Noooooone the less, if you like you some gritty, heavy, emotionally driven music, check 'em out.

5.All Pigs Must Die
Love you some heavy old school metal? Love you some Slayer?
Then love you some All Pigs Must Die. That is all.

There's other bands on my list of shit I've bee listening to a shitload, but I didn't want to make such a thing to bulky. So check these guys out too.

Hope For The Dying
Might not be everyone's slice of cake, but they offer a lot of variety, and I quite like the guys.

Latitudes
I didn't put these guys here because I previously posted them, but I have faaaaaallen in love with this band, seriously if you haven't checked them out, do so. Go listen to Antechamber.
Many of their songs are without vocals, but this is never a bad thing.

Bispora
This one's hard to explain, but I assure you if you give Genesis or Divinity's Guest and you'll love them.

Every Time I Die
Wanderlust. That is all.

Plebeian Grandstand
Kind of mathy. Now I completely understand that people don't like mathcore, but I love the stuff, I eat it for breakfast. So if you're like me, check 'em.

<3

Neeeeeeeed eeeeeet.

I require a piano accordion, that is all.

Awwww yeeeaaaaah.

Slow on the posts, appy-polly-logies. Just been pre-occupied by shit is all.

But fear not! Doodles are hear.

My take on anime. Don't take it seriously, t'is just a bit of arse-fuckery. I cannot anime what so ever.
Progress on this thing. I might make a none bloody one also, depends how I feeeeel.

I've got a photo of another drawing I'm walking on, but I've no way to get it to le blog, so....I'll post that in time. And yes, it's been slow, sorry.
