Song of the Day

Passenger - Deftones
Seriously, it's Deftones, if you don't listen to them you should die.

Song of the Day

Deception - Tesseract
I'm sure I've made a large enough deal about my love for this band. This song's amazing, this album's amazing, this band's amazing. They won't be the same without Dan, but, I hope nothing drastic happens to them. But I miss Dan.
If you haven't listened to Tesseract, get the hell to it as soon as possible.

Song of the day

I didn't get around to it last night, I was far too tired for my own good.

Aerodynamic - Daft Punk
I've loved Daft Punk since forever, before my metal, there was Daft Punk, The prodigy The Chemical Brothers. And I still frequently listen to, and love them all.
So anywhom, if you're incapable of enjoying Daft Punk there's something wrong with you. Enjoy.

Song of the Day

Thing In A Jar - Dax Riggs
I love Dax, as he is one of my favourite vocalists allong with Layne Staley and Chris Cornell. This would have to be my favourite song of his, if not it'd be Night is the Notion.
There isn't much to say of the song, there isn't much that needs to be said of the song, it's amazing. So just give it a look see, you'll enjoy it.

<3

mmmmm

I saw something similar to this around, thought I'd give it a spin.
I think I did a'ight.

Song of the Day

Lets kick this shit off once more.
Now most won't like it, but it's my song of the day, so get fucked. <3
Besides, a lil' slammin' never hurt anyone.

Maggot Ridden Bowels - Gutted Out
I love slam, a lot. Now you may know I love heavy as fuck beats, but I 'specially love Slam because it's extra heavy, extra brutal and extra groovey.
Want to look tough? Play Slam. Want to dance around the house? Play Slam. It's all jolly.
If you don't dig the heaviness of it all, just give it a listen for shits and giggles, it can be quite amusing.

Apple logges

It's been nearly a month since I last posted, I apologise for this, I just was feeling the bloggability within.
I'd make it up to you, but I cannot.
As for a recap of my time off, nothing happened.

Love you guys. <3

Song of the day

I didn't do it last night, I'm sorry. I'm in a rush so this will be short.

Pedestal - Portishead
Just chill out to some Portishead, I'll edit this post later.

Oh god yes

As a lover of both these movies, I loved this sooooooo much, it was great.

<3

Song of the Day

A bit late, it is. I was watching Misfits, which I suggest you all try, it's great.

Last Night A Forest Drew (Part Two) - The Odious
I've been listening to these guys for awhile now, and they really do deserve more recognition than they currently have, they're great musicians.
Might not be everyone's slice of cake, but I love them, 'specially this song ('Specially's a word according to le dictionary). It's delicious progressive, somewhat technical, it's deliciously interesting, and it varies muchly. I'm also a fan of synth when used well, as it is. And coming in at about 9 minutes, it's for filling.
I must admit the lyrics are childish at times, which is a pet hate of mine, but it's still marvelous.

They recently released a new demo too, give it a looksee/download on their Bandcamp.

song of the day.

I was really hoping I'd be able to post Imago by Butterfly Trajectory, but the song doesn't exist on Youtube, so all I can propose is to check out their Facebook. They're well worth the time.
They haven't much, but what they do have is amazing, if you're a fan of Opeth, check 'em.

Song of the Day

I missed yesterday's, I apologise, I was pre-occupied.
So here's that one, and I'll do todays later.

Caligula's Horse - Alone In The World
I recently discovered these guys, I loooooooove them. And their from Australia, fuck yeah.
I hope to god I get to see these guys sometime, they're very talented, and, yeah.
There's really nothing else to be said at all, so check 'em out here.

Needed?

Yes
DUCK

I am somewhat capable of animation, so don't take this seriously at all.

<3

Song of the Day

Antechamber - Latitudes
Agonist is one of the albums I love to play from start to finish, over and over again. It's amazing.
I accidentally stumbled across Antechamber whilst I was looking for shit on a game, and I must say I'm so thankful I did, I love these guys.
It's a slow and moody song, slowly building upto the bulk of it. Everything works perfectly, I love the guitars, I looove the drums, and they don't use vocals on all their tracks, but when they do they never cease to be amazing.
So check the rest of these guys out, they're great post-metallers and a great band to chillout to.
So if you dig bands like Russian Circles, Cult of Luna and The Matador, check 'em.

<3

Song of the Day

The Gala Event - Beastie Boys
I looooooove The Beastie Boy, it's like listening to the '90s. If you do not love The Beastie Boys, get out.  If I was to stay true to them, I'd have posted Root Down or Girls (Check them out). But I could not pass up this song.
Even if you do not enjoy the wiggery rhymes of The Beastie Boys, I reaaaaally suggest you give this album a look see, it's unlike any of their other stuffs, and some of the chillest stuff I've heard.
"The Mix Up" is easily one of my favourite albums in the history forever, and this is my favourite track of thus album. I'm a suck for such bass and trip-hoppiness.
There's nothing to really be said other then that, just give the track a look see.

<3

mmmmmmmmm, tech death.

Good ol' russians. This song's lovely; It's techy as fuck and start with piano, who doesn't like piano?
If you're into Tech Death you should really give these guys a look see, I'm pree' sure they've disbanded, but I could be wrong.

Song of the Day

Here's today's.
Perturbed - Hacride

I think this song has the most plays in my Itunes. The second I heard the song I fell inlove, and then fell inlove with the band. These frenchy's have some aaaah'some music, which everyone should really checkout. I like the video clip also, but this isn't due to tits.
So check 'em out.

<3

Sleep

A little Stoner Metal never hurt anyone; So what bad could come from an hour long Stoner Metal song? Yeah?

Sleep's a great band, this is a great album, this is a great song.
Just jam that shit on, and chill out, yeah?

<3

Song of the Day

I apologise, I was busy yesterday. So he's the one for yesterday, and I'll throw up today's later.

Ethernity - Sybreed
I don't listen to Sybreed a whole lot anymore, which is a shame. But this song still sits veeeery well with me.
This was the song that got me into Sybreed, along side Rusted. They were the band that then got me into bands like Mnemic, Periphery and M.A.N, and later bands like Tesseract, Vildhjarta, Uneven Structure, Xerath and Monuments. So I thank them muchly for this.
Ethernity differs from Sybreed's other songs, and as far as I remember, was the only chill track of theirs.
So just give this marvelously atmospheric 9 minute track a run through, you'll probably love it.

<3

Song of the Day

Nothing to Gein - Mudvayne
Mudvayne's one of my favourite bands, and this song is probably one of my favourite songs by them, if not, it is my favourite. It's the song that got me loving them.
There's nothing wrong with this song, I love the way it interchanges between the parts of the song, even the confusing bit at like 1:10.
Chad Gray has to be my favourite vocals of heavy music, be that for his strong, filthy vocals, or his emotionally wholesome and gritty cleans.
Along side chad, the rest of the band's amazing also, Ryan Martinie is definitely up there with bassists like Jeroen hesseling from Obscura. Then you have Matthew McDonough, who works perfectly with Mudvayne as a drummer, he's not overly complex, but remains groovy and heavy as tits.

Long story short, if you don't, if you don't listen to Mudvayne, listen to Mudvayne.
IMN's also another amazing song.

Doodlin'

 Just doodlin'.

Thus is Pikachu.
Thus is murder.

Thus might be available in awhile.
<3

Song of the day

Dead As History - The Dillinger Escape Plan
I fell inlove with Dillinger for there hectic mathcore goodness, but it's song's like Dead As History and Phone Home that make me love them further more (somehow).
Nothing really needs to be said at all, just listen to it, Greg Puciato's are amazing.
Don't know what this mathcore garbage is? Click here.

<3

Wednesday, October 19, 2011

Oh yeah

So I uploaded this a couple weeks ago, not sure why I didn't dump it here.
Nothing important, just some fuck-assery.

For anyone who cares, the song was Jolie Coquine by Caravan Palace.

<3

Listen to eeet.

Y'all should probably listen to more of The Haunted

That is all

<3

Song of the day

This song's been played a few times by me today, I love it.

Paint The Sky - Wizard's Beard
In the mood for some heavy as tits Stoner/Sludge, then you should probably be listen to some more Wizard's beard. I loooove this song ever so much, and is one of my favourites of the genre.
Having a playtime of 8:30 makes everything better, and makes for a powerful, wholesome listen. The instrumentals manage to be heavy and gritty without being %80 feedback like most Sludge bands do (I'm not complaining), and then the harsh vocals are layed upon thus, and work amazingly for the song.

So anywizzle, listen to the shit.

Eleanor Rigby -The Beatles
Nothing, really needs to be said, it The Beatles. *shrugs*
It's beautifully written, beautifully played, and yeah. I wish it was longer though. :'c

Times are slow

We finally have a tracklist for If I Was A Dolphin, not that many would care. It'll probably change down the line, but here's the jive of it.

Intro (Yo nigga)
In true rap nature, we'll kick the shit off with nonsensical yelling and slander, chair, maybe introduce ourselves, who knows.

If I Was A Dolphin
The life of a dolphin is a calm one; This song is just the rappers dream of being a dolphin, and what he'd do if he was with such freedom, and awesomeness.

Pokemon (Catch da fuggas)
Pokemon training is a rough lifestyle, you never know when you'll be attacked by random creatures from grass, or if someone will spot you while spinning in circles, and force you to defend yourself with your own pokemon.

I love When Bitches Draw Me Picture
Naturally, bitches drawing me pictures sets me in a good mood, I don't give a shit how poorly drawn said pictures are, they never seize to lighten up my day. Represent.

Cake (Add Da Fuggin' Butter, Dawg)
Ever wanted to bake a cake, but had issues reading those literate instruction. Well here's instructions for such a process, but dumb down, and layed a top of a generic beat. Know even you can enjoy the world of baking.

Outro
It's time to say bye, y'all.

As I said this list may very, and that might not be the final order.

mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.

I haven't posted in quite the whiles, I just haven't been "feeling it, yo."
I've been watching me some movies, playing games and doodling. So in the mean time I suggest you watch A Clockwork Orange, American History X, Day Of The Dead, Fight Club, Requiem For A Dream and Trainspotting, if you haven't already. If you have, watch them again.
You should also watch The Regular Show, Ren And Stimpy and Full Metal Alchemist.

And here's this.
He's got a bit of work in him yet.

Not in the completionist kind of mood.

Nernerner, nargha heeeergh.
Just doodlin', nothing exciting, blabablalba, so on and the what not.

Not completely sure what this is, but ah well, looks quite lovely so far, and I feel it'll look better with colours, 'specially purple.

Jesus; Was part of a greater clusterfuck of doodliage, but I decided to pull him to the side and doodle him further more.

<3

Wednesday, October 5, 2011

Oh lawd.

I was previously overly-excited for Uneven Structure's new album, Februus.
And after hearing the track they released yesterday, I'm more excited, which is kind of trouble, but ah well.

It's everything I had expected.

Whilst your at it, Scott Kelly's recording a new album, for those of you who are unsure, he's vocalist/guitarist for Neurosis, he also did some guest vocals for Mastodon.
But none the less, he's lovely.

<3

mmmmmm, delicious

Mastodon released the music video for the song "Curl of the Burl"
The song kicks ass, as one would expect from Mastodon, and I quite enjoy the video clip, as weird as it is.

My favourite bit's when they set him on fire with their tits.

*insert Regular Show quote here*

Incase people are what the shitting.

Hmm Hmm

Everyone should watch The Regular Show, 'specially if you dig shows like Adventure Time. Even if you don't, watch it anyway.

*EDIT*
Another reason to watch kids shows like this, is for jokes like this

<3

Hmm hmm

So I hadn't posted in abit, I knowses, appy-polly-logies.
Anywhom, here's my listening habits for the past week. ^_^

1.Eyehategod
I love sludge, it's lovely, and if you're ever pissed off it's the place to go. I often find myself listening to bands like Crowbar, Acid Bath, Grief and Eyehategod. But as of late I've been listening to a lot of these guys, and I feel you should too. ^_^

2-The Ocean
I'm always listening to The Ocean, they're one of my favourite band, and with their collection of music, there's no reason to not be in the mood for them. So none the less, they rock socks, check 'em.

3-Deftones
Deftones are another favourite of mine, have been for awhile. Their latest album Diamond Eyes will never compare to their other stuff, but it got me into the band, so it sits well with me, and like their other stuff, it has the annoying habit of being reaaally damn catchy, and I've been subconsciously singing this song all week.

4-Opeth
Nothing ever needs to be said about Opeth, their amazing. And after being notified of their touring of Australia in December, I got onto listening to these guys obsessively again, I love them.
Much like The Ocean, with suck variety, there's no reason not to be in an Opeth mood.

5-Russian Circles
If you've never chilled the fuck out to Russian Circles, you're doing it wrong.
These pack o' instrumental post-metallers are one of those bands you can listen to for hours, and it won't get old, if you dig bands like latitudes, Yndi Halda or Caspian, you'll probably dig Russian Circles, their a tad bit more powerful with what their doing, but a beautiful listen none the less.
I'm also forced to miss these guys playing due to the fact it's an 18+ venue, how shit's that?

6-Rings of Saturn
I'm not sure how Rings of Saturn made it into this collection, but I loooooove Tech Death, and these guys are just delightful, if you dig guys like Hiroshima Will Burn, Hedonistic Exility or Upheaval, check 'em.

7-Beasite Boys
I love The Beastie Boys, alot. But The Mix Up, has to be one of my favourite albums in the history, if you haven't experienced this album in it's entirety, you haven't lived.

8-Tesseract
....It's Tesseract, they're better then life.
I had to miss these guys, I hate 18+ venues.

9-Latitudes
I was going to post Steppe and Veld, but apparently the song doesn't exist of Youtube. Anywhom, here's another band that I can listen to for hours on end, even though they've only got 12 songs spanning 2 albums, they're amazing, and this is one of the few tracks with vocals.

10-Portishead
Portishead is beautiful.
Also, like Russian Circles and Tesseract, I have to miss them because I'm not 18. Woo.

11-Meshuggah
I love Meshuggah, they're pioneers of a lot of things, and anyone who says they like metals, and refuses to like Meshuggah, doesn't like metal
I didn't know how I could represent this album with a single song, so I posted the whole album. It's one of the best albums to listen to, from start to finish, as the songs flow amazingly, and it may as well be a single song.

Hmm hmm

<3

Wednesday, September 7, 2011

Shit son.

Still working on it, I'll throw it up once it's finally done, but I'm hoping to do a fair bit of work on it yet.

Wolves are a pain in the ass.

<3

Get Excited!

Kind of couldn't fit this shit into the previous post, as it didn't really fit.
But none the lessliness, here's upcoming albums and whatnot that I'm really looking to.

1.Tesseract+Elliot=?
This one isn't really, excitement, more so curiosity. Basing my opinion on this track alone, I prefer Dan, but that'd be dumb. I'm not pissy about it, as Dan left the band, and his fans, and Tesseract were forced to find a replacement, and as far as replacements go, they did well, and I'm sure I'll grow to love him. Isn't really the Tesseract I grew to love with One, but One wasn't the Tesseract I grew to love with their pre-concealing fate stuff.
I feel Dan was a little less distracting and worked with the band in a more effective way, hoh wheel.

 2.The Safety Fire-Grind The Ocean
I've been following The Safety Fire for awhile now, and I love the stuff they've done so far. This track is all they were before, and more, I'm loving it. If you dig bands like Sikth and Aliases, but want a little less randomness and wailing, this album's for chooo.

3.The Atlas Moth-An Ache For The Distance
I posted this song in my last post, which, was a poor choice in song, seeing as it's not out yet. I just recently got into these guys, and I reallly want this album now, this songs delightful, the band's delightful. and it's out in a couple of weeks.
4.Livarkahil-Signs Of Decay.
I've been looking forward to this album since they released a teaser for it earlier this year, a got that shit stuck in my head like a ma fugga. And this track, is as I expected, it's delicious. And it's out in a few weeks.

5.RWAKE-Rest
I've heard the guys previously, and I loved what I've heard. But this, is just amazing, it's wholesome, and just, heavy, sludgey goodness.
After reading reviews of the album, I just want it more, it sounds, lovely. The shit drops on 27th.

6.Textures-Dualism
I've been listening to these guys for awhile now, and it was only within the last month or two that I fell inlove moreso. They're really good musicians, and after hearing this, and the track Singularity. I cannot wait. Also pleases me that their drummer's a lefty.
Shit drops on the 27th also.

7.The HAARP Machine-The Escapist Notion

I don't feel I need to say all too much about these guys and their debut album. They're awesomely technical, without being, face raping (Which I love none the less).
I'm really glad these guys got signed and whatnot, they deserve it. I cannot wait until this is released.

8.New Burning The Masses
I love Burning The Masses, and as good as their last album, I don't feel Big Chocolate was Burning The Masses Enough for the Burning The Masses club.
It's a lot deathier then their last, which I looove, but a lot less technical then Mind Control, and I prefer their first vocalist.
But I still love this, and it's better then Offspring of time. Can't wait for more.

9.Mastodon-The Hunter
I don't think there's people that hate mastodon, so there's no need to explain how I love them, and everything they've ever done.
Just, their new album is Mastodon, and I'm excited.

10.New Vildhjarta
These guys, don't need words. They're too good. No new shit as of yet. I'm excited for the new vocalist.

11.New Meshuggah
...

12.If I Was A Dolphin
I'm usually not for rap, but this album, is going to be great, I haven't heard anything yet, but you can just tell.
These guys are so revolutionary, they don't even have a name yet. How many artists announce albums before their name? Damn straight.

I've probably missed something obvious, but, yes.

<3

mmmmmmmm

I try to stay away from anything 'core, unless it's Grindcore or Mathcore.

But I must say there's a few deathcore bands that tickle my music prostate every now and again.

I've always kind of dug Molotov Solution, but I am diggin' thus song.

But 'core pushed aside, here's sextunes I've been loving as of late.

1.Cult of Luna
This band is magical, and I can shuffle them for hours without it becoming monotonous. I love these guys and I really suggest you give them a look see, 'specially if you dig bands like The Matador or Latitudes.

2.Corrosion of Conformity
I've been into these guys for awhile, but I've been raping them with my ears the last week, stoner rock at it best.

3.Year of No Light
Not only is this song beautifully vast and progressive, but the EP is one of the most epic things I've heard, and with this track spanning 10 minutes, it's a worthwhile listen, I love it.. If you dig bands that can actually put forward a sense of emotion with their music, I really suggest you listen to these guys.
If you dig Yndi Halda and Caspian, give these guys a listen.

4.The Atlas Moth
If you know me at all, I love myself anything with a sludgey/doomy sense to it, doesn't necessarily that it is sludge or doom, just it has some elements that display such a thing. Noooooone the less, if you like you some gritty, heavy, emotionally driven music, check 'em out.

5.All Pigs Must Die
Love you some heavy old school metal? Love you some Slayer?
Then love you some All Pigs Must Die. That is all.

There's other bands on my list of shit I've bee listening to a shitload, but I didn't want to make such a thing to bulky. So check these guys out too.

Hope For The Dying
Might not be everyone's slice of cake, but they offer a lot of variety, and I quite like the guys.

Latitudes
I didn't put these guys here because I previously posted them, but I have faaaaaallen in love with this band, seriously if you haven't checked them out, do so. Go listen to Antechamber.
Many of their songs are without vocals, but this is never a bad thing.

Bispora
This one's hard to explain, but I assure you if you give Genesis or Divinity's Guest and you'll love them.

Every Time I Die
Wanderlust. That is all.

Plebeian Grandstand
Kind of mathy. Now I completely understand that people don't like mathcore, but I love the stuff, I eat it for breakfast. So if you're like me, check 'em.

<3

Neeeeeeeed eeeeeet.

I require a piano accordion, that is all.

Awwww yeeeaaaaah.

Slow on the posts, appy-polly-logies. Just been pre-occupied by shit is all.

But fear not! Doodles are hear.

My take on anime. Don't take it seriously, t'is just a bit of arse-fuckery. I cannot anime what so ever.
Progress on this thing. I might make a none bloody one also, depends how I feeeeel.

I've got a photo of another drawing I'm walking on, but I've no way to get it to le blog, so....I'll post that in time. And yes, it's been slow, sorry.

Finally

I finally started my "Boy who cried wolf" drawing. I'm sorry it's taken me months.

I don't ever want to draw a wolf again..

<3

hmmph hmmph, agreed.

If any of you cool cats know how to subscribe to RSS feds, you should tertally do that, and tell your friends to do so as well, spread me like you would herpes.

<3

mmmmhm.

So I had accidentally stumbled across this band whilst look for a game, and I must say, best mistake of my life.

I haven't been able to stop listening to these guys.

Also if you dig the sludgey, post-metal sound, I suggest you give Cult of Luna a look see.

<3

If I Was A Dolphin...

Ya'll rready fa the most revolutionary rap album evaaaah? This shit be right fo everyone, all you whiteys, all you asians, everyone. So don't be denying the beauty of this 'ere album, and be buying that shit when it gone been released, yo.

So anyway, boredom leads to one thing, then that thing leads to the urge of writing a rap album, and I assure you, it'll be the most confusing wigger shit out. Get excited.

I went to the liberty of creating the cover, and I think it looks ghetto enough to display our ghetto beats.

We're yet to actually write anything, so it may be a bit before we lay down some rhymes.

Backgrrround

So I got bored, as I one tends to do, and felt I needed a new background, as Adam was getting a bit bland, so I got my photoshop on and made one, I'm the best shooper, so don't be judging too much.

I'm pree' pleased with the outcome

Here's the shit in action.

In case you're wondering about the duck thing, the main reason is, ducks fucking rock. The second reason is, DUCK is my clan, on xbox (I stopped playing such things) and on Steam (and relevant games) so yes, DUCK fo life.
We're not all to good at gaming of any sort really, but we still rock socks, so, what you going to do? Haters gonna hate.

If you wish to add me on steam, do so here.

Vildhjarta

Shortly after announcing they finished with recording, they announced that their vocalist left and was replaced by Vilhelm Bladin. He was previously in a death metal band, so it'll be interesting to see what he brings to the band. Hopefully he has good cleans....

Here's his band, remember it was recorded like 3 years ago.

Also, Robert Luciani (Vildhjarta's old vocalist) has joined a new band called Means End, and I must say, they're fucking lovely.

Grooviest shit in the history of forever.

alsoooooooooo...

Y'all should listen to more of The Chariot. This song is lovely, the breakdown is lovely, the video is creatively lovely. Just do it.

>:c

It is no unknown thing that Tesseract is one of my favourite bands in the history of forever. So naturally I wanted to hit something when it was said that frontman Dan Tompkins had left and was replaced by Elliot Coleman (of Sky Eats Plane).

I am not a fan of Elliots vocals at all, I want Dan back. :c

Here's Elliot doing a song with Haunted Shores.

And it was also rumoured that Travis Richter, vocalist for The Human Abstract left the band, it's yet to be confirmed, but am also pree' bummed about this.

UPDERP!

Lou Reed (of Velvet Underground) is making an album with Metallica, my life just keeps getting worse.
